Fuzzy Networked Control Systems Design Considering Scheduling Restrictions
Nowadays network control systems present a common approximation when connectivity is the issue to be solved based on time delays coupling from external factors. However, this approach tends to be complex in terms of time delays. Therefore, it is necessary to study the behavior of the delays as well as the integration into differential equations of these bounded delays. The related time delays needs to be
known a priory but from a dynamic real-time behavior. To do so, the use of priority dynamic Priority exchange scheduling is performed. The objective of this paper is to show a way to tackle multiple time delays that are bounded and the dynamic response from real-time scheduling approximation. The related control law is designed considering fuzzy logic approximation for nonlinear time delays coupling, where the main advantage is the integration of this behavior through extended state space representation keeping certain linear and bounded behavior and leading to a stable situation during events presentation by guaranteeing stability through Lyapunov
Influence of Quaternary Benzophenantridine and Protopine Alkaloids on Growth Performance, Dietary Energy, Carcass Traits, Visceral Mass, and Rumen Health in Finishing Ewes under Conditions of Severe Temperature-humidity Index.
Twenty Pelibuey×Katahdin ewes (35±2.3 kg) were used to determine the effects of the consumption of standardized plant extract containing a mixture of quaternary benzophenanthridine alkaloids and protopine alkaloids (QBA+PA) on growth performance, dietary energetics, visceral mass, and ruminal epithelial health in heat-stressed ewes fed with a high-energy corn-based diet. The basal diet (13.9% crude protein and 2.09 Mcal of net energy [NE] of maintenance/kg of dry matter) contained 49.7% starch and 15.3% neutral detergent fiber. Source of QBA+PA was Sangrovit RS (SANG) which contains 3 g of quaternary benzophenathridine and protopine alkaloids per kg of product. Treatments consisted of a daily consumption of 0 or 0.5 g SANG/ewe. Ewes were grouped by weight and assigned to 10 pens (5 pens/treatment), with two ewes per pen. The experimental period lasted 70 days. The mean temperature humidity index during the course of this experiment was 81.7±1.0 (severe heat stress). There were no treatment effects on water intake. Dry matter intake was not affected (p = 0.70) by treatments, but the group fed SANG had a numerically (11.2%) higher gain in comparison to the control group, SANG improved gain efficiency (8.3%, p = 0.04), dietary NE (5.2%, p<0.01) and the observed-to-expected NE (5.9%, p<0.01). Supplemental SANG did not affect (p≥0.12) carcass characteristics, chemical composition of shoulder, and organ weights (g/kg empty body weight) of stomach complex, intestines, and heart/lung. Supplemental SANG decreased liver weight (10.3%, p = 0.02) and increased visceral fat (16.9%, p = 0.02). Rumen epithelium of ewes fed SANG had lower scores for cellular dropsical degeneration (2.08 vs 2.34, p = 0.02), parakeratosis (1.30 vs 1.82, p = 0.03) and neutrophil infiltration (2.08 vs 2.86, p = 0.05) than controls. It is concluded that SANG supplementation helped ameliorate the negative effects of severe heat on growth performance of feedlot ewes fed high-energy corn-based diets. Improvement in energetic efficiency may have been mediated, in part, by anti-inflammatory effects of supplemental SANG and corresponding enhancement of nutrient uptake

Hallazgos electromiográficos y electroneurográficos en el pie cavo esencial
La etiologĂa del pie cavo cuando Ă©sta es conocida, suele ser debida a un trastorno
de tipo neurológico o miopático, aunque en determinados casos nos encontramos con pacientes
que padecen esta deformidad en el pie, en los cuales no podemos descubrir ningĂşn
antecedente de este tipo, por lo que lo calificamos de pie cavo «esencial». A un grupo de estos
pacientes con pie cavo «esencial», en los que no hemos encontrado ningún tipo de antecedente
neurológico, lo hemos sometido a una exploración electroneurográfica, encontrando que la
mitad de ellos padecĂan algĂşn trastorno neuropático/miopático, que no habĂa sido detectado

Differences between 1999 and 2010 across the Falkland Plateau: fronts and water masses
Decadal differences in the Falkland Plateau are
studied from the two full-depth hydrographic data collected
during the ALBATROSS (April 1999) and MOC-Austral
(February 2010) cruises. Differences in the upper 100 dbar
are due to changes in the seasonal thermocline, as the ALBATROSS
cruise took place in the austral fall and the MOCAustral
cruise in summer. The intermediate water masses
seem to be very sensitive to the wind conditions existing in
their formation area, showing cooling and freshening for the
decade as a consequence of a higher Antarctic Intermediate
Water (AAIW) contribution and of a decrease in the Subantarctic
Mode Water (SAMW) stratum. The deeper layers
do not exhibit any significant change in the water mass properties.
The Subantarctic Front (SAF) in 1999 is observed at
52.2–54.8 W with a relative mass transport of 32.6 Sv. In
contrast, the SAF gets wider in 2010, stretching from 51.1
to 57.2 W (the Falkland Islands), and weakening to 17.9 Sv.
Changes in the SAF can be linked with the westerly winds
and mainly affect the northward flow of Subantarctic Surface
Water (SASW), SAMW and AAIW/Antarctic Surface Water
(AASW). The Polar Front (PF) carries 24.9 Sv in 1999
(49.8–44.4 W), while in 2010 (49.9–49.2 W) it narrows
and strengthens to 37.3 Sv.En prens
Design of a Fuzzy Networked Control Systems. Priority Exchange Scheduling Algorithm
This work presents a supervisory control strategy for Networked Control Systems (NCSs). This shows the identification and control of the plant using fuzzy theory. The fuzzy model incorporates the delay dynamics within the fuzzy rules based upon a real-time hierarchical scheduling strategy. A hierarchical scheduling Priority Exchange algorithm is used based upon codesign strategy following mutual correlation among control and network algorithms in order to bounded time delays.
